LANCOME의 '한 방울로 시작되는 새로운 변화'라는 주제로 디지털 요소가 가미된 3가지 테마의 미디어 아트 전시에서 2관과 3관을 맡아 진행하였습니다. 2관에서는 방의 벽면을 바리솔과 LED로 구성하였고, 3관에서는 방 중앙의 물 웅덩이와 한 방울의 세럼을 상징하는 76개 크리스탈 구로 구성하였습니다.
2관은 랑콤 제품을 통해 피부에 이뤄지는 일주일간의 변화를 공간 전체 벽면의 색을 바꾸는 연출을 통해, 3관에서는 크리스탈구의 움직임과 수면 위 퍼져나가는 웨이브를 통해 표현하였습니다.
어나더선데이는 해당 작품을 제작하기 위하여 키네틱 메커니즘과 구조 설계, 프로그래밍, 그리고 커스텀 임베디드 기판 자체 제작, LED 시공 등 다양한 작업을 수행하였습니다.
3관에 사용된 76개의 스텝모터는 자체 제작한 보드를 통해 명령을 받아 제어됩니다. 와이어의 지름, 나사산의 리드 등을 모두 고려한 설계를 통해 크리스탈 구의 움직임을 0.0034mm단위까지 조작할 수 있었고, 이를 통해 세밀하게 연출을 표현할 수 있었습니다.
Under the theme of LANCOME's "New Change Starting with a Drop," we were in charge of the second and third halls in the media art exhibition with three themes with digital elements. In Hall 2, the wall of the room is composed of a barisole and an LED, and in Hall 3, the water pool in the center of the room and 76 crystal balls representing a drop of serum.
The week-long changes made to the skin through Lancome products are expressed in Hall 2 by changing the color of the entire wall of the space, and in Hall 3, through the movement of crystal balls and waves spreading on the surface of the water.
Another Sunday performed a variety of tasks to produce the work, including kinetic mechanisms, structural design, programming, and custom embedded substrates self-production, LED construction, etc.
The 76 step motors used in tube 3 are commanded and controlled by a self-made board. With the design considering both the diameter of the wire and the lead of the thread, the movement of the crystal sphere could be operated up to 0.0034mm, which allowed for detailed representation.
