ANOTHER SUNDAY designed and built a custom media installation at Salomon’s Seongsu flagship store for the launch of its new XT-EVO collection and an exhibition of custom pieces created with the band HYUKOH. The project translated the main VMD concept, “Red Sand,” into a spatial experience while displaying and highlighting the customized vintage Salomon pieces worn by the band.

Monitors played HYUKOH’s “KoK” music video, footage from the Pentaport Rock Festival, and Salomon brand films on a loop. Headphones let visitors listen to the music video, while a selfie zone invited them to photograph themselves within the installation.

To make use of the store’s central column, ANOTHER SUNDAY designed and fabricated a custom pipe structure. Monitor arms supported four custom tops and a hat, while red wiring carried the visual concept through the finer details. A dot LED display extended the “Red Sand” theme: the words “SHAPED – SHIFTED – EVOLVED” scattered and reassembled like grains of sand.
