<a:museum>은 Ayala Malls Manila Bay에 예술기획사 에이플랜컴퍼니가 런칭한, 필리핀 최대 규모의 몰입형 디지털 아트 전시 공간이다. 전시 입장과 동시에 마주하는 "TELEPORT GALLERY" 는 본 공간을 통해 고대부터 현대 미술까지의 예술 흐름을 빠르게 탐험하고, 본 전시의 메인 관인 "ETERNAL TOUCHES" 를 통해 시대를 대표하는 명화들을 통해 예술의 웅장함과 아름다움을 관객에게 전달한다. 그리고 이어지는 "Ground of Creativity" 공간을 통해 예술과 기술을 기반으로 탄생된 다채로운 작품들을 마주한다.
어나더선데이는 이 전시에서 ‘TOUCH ISLAND, GUEST BOOK, RHYTHM & BODY, PORTAL OF LIGHTS, INFINITE BLOSSOMS, STREAM OF HEAVEN’ 총 6개의 작품 및 콘텐츠를 제작했습니다. 필리핀 섬의 이미지를 차용해 ‘모래’를 활용한 인터랙션 작품 TOUCH ISLAND에서는 실시간 높이값 분석과 지역 생성 알고리즘을 적용하여, 관람객의 손끝으로 지형을 빚어내는 경험을 구현했습니다. 또한 음성 인식 기반 인터랙션 작품 GUEST BOOK은 전통적인 방명록을 대신해 관객의 목소리가 메시지가 되어 공간에 기록되는 새로운 참여 방식을 선보였습니다. 나아가 RHYTHM & BODY는 관람객의 동작을 감지해 이를 실시간 AI 이미지로 시각화함으로써 “몸이 곧 예술”이 되는 몰입형 경험을 제공했습니다. 이와 함께 PORTAL OF LIGHTS, INFINITE BLOSSOMS, STREAM OF HEAVEN에서는 음악과 어우러진 라이팅 퍼포먼스를 연출했습니다.
어나더선데이는 이번 프로젝트에서 인터랙티브 아트와 데이터 기반 기술을 결합하여, 기술·예술·체험이 유기적으로 맞물린 새로운 문화적 지대를 만들었습니다.
<a:museum> is the largest immersive digital art exhibition space in the Philippines, launched by the art planning agency APLAN COMPANY at Ayala Malls Manila Bay. Upon entering the exhibition, visitors are greeted by "TELEPORT GALLERY," which offers a fast-paced journey through the flow of art from ancient to modern times. The main hall, "ETERNAL TOUCHES," conveys the grandeur and beauty of art through masterpieces representing different eras. Continuing into "Ground of Creativity," visitors encounter a variety of works born from the fusion of art and technology.
AnotherSunday created a total of six works and contents for this exhibition: ‘TOUCH ISLAND, GUEST BOOK, RHYTHM & BODY, PORTAL OF LIGHTS, INFINITE BLOSSOMS, and STREAM OF HEAVEN.’ In TOUCH ISLAND, an interactive work inspired by the image of the Philippine islands and realized with sand, real-time height value analysis and regional generation algorithms were applied to allow visitors to sculpt terrain with their fingertips. The voice-recognition–based interactive work GUEST BOOK replaced the traditional guestbook, enabling visitors’ voices to become messages recorded in the space. Furthermore, RHYTHM & BODY detected visitors’ movements and visualized them as real-time AI images, creating an immersive experience in which “the body itself becomes art.” In addition, PORTAL OF LIGHTS, INFINITE BLOSSOMS, and STREAM OF HEAVEN presented lighting performances in harmony with music.
Through this project, AnotherSunday combined interactive art with data-driven technology, creating a new cultural domain where technology, art, and experience are organically intertwined.
