〈UNBANNABLE CELEBRATION PARTY: 이삼통운〉은 조던 브랜드의 40주년을 기념해 실리카겔과 바밍타이거가 함께한 전시형 팝업 프로젝트입니다.
‘만약 조던이 NBA 출전 정지를 당하지 않았다면?’이라는 상상에서 출발한 이번 행사는, 성수동에 실제로 등장한 가상의 택배 회사 ‘이삼통운’을 배경으로 펼쳐졌습니다. 공연, 굿즈, 인터랙션 체험 등 다양한 콘텐츠가 ‘택배 상자’처럼 공간 곳곳에 배치되어, 조던이 40년간 쌓아온 무브먼트와 정신을 실험적이고 유쾌한 방식으로 풀어냈습니다.
방문객들은 이삼통운 창고를 탐험하며, 조던의 문화적 에너지를 감각적으로 경험할 수 있으며, 브랜드와 아티스트가 공동으로 구성한 세계관 안에서 새로운 형태의 브랜드 전시를 체험할 수 있도록 설계되었습니다.
어나더선데이는 이번 파티에서 UNBANNABLE Sampler Studio를 제작하였습니다. 샘플러는 다양한 사운드를 조합해 나만의 음악을 만들 수 있는 인터랙티브 사운드 장치로, 관객은 직접 비트와 멜로디를 선택하고, 드리블, 슛, 백보드 충돌음, 코트 위 마찰음 등 농구의 생생한 효과음을 레이어링하여 자신만의 트랙을 완성할 수 있습니다.
조던의 무브, 에너지, 개성을 사운드 에셋으로 풀어내기 위해 실시간 사운드 레코딩, 샘플링, 영상 패턴 생성 등의 기술을 구현하였습니다. 완성된 사운드에 맞춰 영상 패턴이 실시간으로 생성되며, 제작한 트랙과 영상은 MMS를 통해 전송되어 벨소리로 저장하거나 자유롭게 공유할 수 있도록 구성하였습니다.
〈UNBANNABLE CELEBRATION PARTY: ISAM EXPRESS〉 was a pop-up exhibition project celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Jordan brand, co-created by Silica Gel and Balming Tiger.
Inspired by the question, "What if Jordan had never been banned from the NBA?", the exhibition imagines an alternate reality in which a fictional delivery company named ISAM EXPRESS opens its warehouse in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. The space, styled as a real logistics hub, was filled with performances, merchandise, and interactive installations—each presented as if unpacking a delivery box. The exhibition reinterpreted the spirit and movement of Jordan in a playful and experimental manner.
Visitors explored the ISAM EXPRESS warehouse to experience the cultural energy of Jordan firsthand. The project offered a unique brand space where visitors could immerse themselves in a shared universe created by the brand and artists.
Another Sunday developed the UNBANNABLE Sampler Studio for this event—an interactive sound installation that allowed visitors to create their own music tracks. By selecting beats and melodies, and layering dynamic sound assets such as dribbles, dunks, backboard hits, and court squeaks, users could compose personalized soundtracks reflecting the rhythm of basketball.
To capture Jordan’s energy, movement, and individuality through sound, the experience featured real-time sound recording, sampling, and generative video pattern technology. As the music was created, visual patterns were generated in sync. The final audio-visual piece could be sent to users via MMS, allowing them to save it as a ringtone or share it freely.
